Automobile or simply motor vehicle, this includes many types of vehicles that are used for the transportation purposes. Automobile industry has flourishes to a large extent since the year of first automobile consumer production.  The production of large scale of automobile production started in the year early years of the 20th century, but this industry saw boom in the last year of 1970’s and the early ears of the 1980’s. And after the booming years new designs of engine and new models of cars became the trend of the market. In all these years large numbers of car makers came into the business of automobile. Some of the giants of this very industry are, BMW, AUDI, TATA, NISSAN, HYUNDAI, VOLVO, MARUTI, FORDS, VOKKSWAGEN, and MAHINDRA etc.

Car market inside India :

India also shared a bigger part of this automobile consumer industry. Today India stands at no 7 in the automobile industry in the whole world. As the population of the country is increasing the demand of car and various automobile is also increasing in the country, and this indeed is increasing automobiles India. Today there are different model of car that are available in India. These different models provide option for the fuel power; all the companies are providing cars that run on petrol, diesel, and LPG and CNG. In the past decade the sale of cars has hiked by 80%, the car price in India varies depending on the model and the features that are available in a particular model. Generally it has been seen that the Asian manufactures provides cars at lower cost as compared the European manufacturers.

Different car model in the automobile market of India :

There are many variations in the model and the features that are available in car, some of the different vision of the cars are SUV, VAN, SEDAN, WAGON, LIMOUSINE, BUGGY, ROADSTER, MPV etc. India car models are very much different than the car version sold in the other parts of the world, this is because of the reason the Indian roads are quite different then that are available in the European countries. Indian roads are generally very narrower and the condition of the roads is not as good as they are in European countries. As the demand of cars is increasing in India more and new companies are keenly looking to get in to Indian car market. And this is because prevailing car manufacturers are bringing in new cars in India that are of lower cost and are made comparable for Indian roads.  New cars in 2011 India are mainly targeted toward the middle class consumer, companies brought into the market more fuel efficient cars, and some of the companies introduced cheaper cars for the Indian market. The TATA NANO, BAJA RE60 and Mahindra REVA are the latest car in India that is targeted for the budget consumers of the Indian market. Mainly the car manufacturers in India are focusing their potential for the manufacturing of the small and budget cars that are fuel efficient.
